Head of the Foundation of Specific Diseases, declaring that it is our duty to inform them about the rights of patients, and said: “Till now, we have distributed more than 2,700 dialysis devices in the country for free, perhaps several times the size of the hospital bed for Talassemia patients, chemotherapy and dialysis patients. We have also helped set up centers, and so far several centers have been built by us and patients are using them.

She said about cancer drugs: Cancer drugs have specific formulations that are expensive and come from outside Iran. It is difficult to pay for these families, but there are also drugs that need to be paid by the patient, which is still payable. It is difficult for the patient, because these drugs are relatively expensive, of course, we can help as much as we can.
Hashemi added: “Last year, we only donated more than 40 billion IRR to MS patients and cancer, but the Ministry of Health should finally be free to pay for cancer patients and MS, and not pay for themselves.”
She concluded, in the end, about the success rate of the Health Development Plan: this plan has not only failed, it has seriously damaged the country.
