Four Iranian medicines were produced by researchers at Iranian cancer and diabetes companies.
At a ceremony attended by Health Minister Saeed Namaki, Dr Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, Dr. Shahbazi, Alborz Governor Dr. Hossein Karim, Head of the Alborz University of Medical Sciences.
Anticancer medicines are expected to have a $ 1 billion potential market in the country. The production of these important medicines strengthens Iran’s position among advanced medicine-producing countries.
While the Iranian version of the medicine, similar in quality or even better than the German medicine, is only for sale at a price of five percent of the foreign sample. The drug was first marketed in 2012, and Iranian researchers have succeeded in achieving the complex technology of this medicine after seven years.
